WHITE WIZZARD REVEAL 'THE DEVILS CUT' ALBUM ARTWORK WHITE WIZZARD have revealed the artwork for their upcoming new album, THE DEVILS CUT, which is due to be released on June 3rd in Europe via Earache Records, and June 25th in the USA via Century Media/Earache Records.

WHITE WIZZARD bassist and mainman JON LEON comments: "It was great to work with the amazing artist Cameron Davis again, who also did the art for our album 'Over the Top'. Cameron and I live in the same building here in LA and he is a really talented guy. When he presented me the piece for the album cover, I knew right away it was the one. It has amazing imagery and depth and is very artful, while making a tongue-in-cheek statement poking some fun at organized religion, which is something I feel strongly about.

"Some of my lyrics on this album and previous albums focus on not letting religion and the cult of group belief blind you from the preservation of thinking for yourself and being an individual, so it ties into that very well, as the statement of the piece is how religion is imprisonment for the soul and how, even within its own confines, it forces its believers into blind group submission. I think any of us that went to catholic school as a child can relate to that nun!!! It has 'classic metal cover' all over it and it just blew my mind.

White Wizzard Live with Lizzy Borden

WHITE WIZZARD Confirm West Hollywood Show With LIZZY BORDEN Los Angeles-based metallers WHITE WIZZARD have confirmed a show in West Hollywood, with veterans LIZZY BORDEN. White Wizzard - who are currently recording their new studio album, The Devil's Cut - will be supporting Lizzy Borden at the world famous Whisky A Go Go on the Sunset Strip on April 13th. White Wizzard bassist and main man Jon Leon comments: "We are happy to announce White Wizzard will be playing direct support to the classic and amazing band Lizzy Borden at the Whisky A Go Go in Hollywood, April 13th. We go on at 11 PM sharp. If you are in LA make sure you buy tickets. It's going to be an amazing show!!!" The Devil's Cut is being recorded with producer Ralph Patlan (MEGADETH, UFO, MICHAEL SCHENKER) at Phase Four Studios in Tempe, Arizona. The album is the band's third full-length release, and their first to feature vocalist Joseph Michael. The album is due to be released later this year on Earache Records in Europe and via Century Media/Earache Records in North America.
